A fact of life

It’s been a while since I posted… well aside from my earlier posts today. Everything just kind of piled up. It’s been a long month… a really tiring one. It kind of felt like the pressure sucked away my soul and every life there is in me.>< It wasn’t great but it wasn’t that bad too… hmmm.. Confusing.:)

These past few days, I’ve been using my cellphone to write down how I feel or random things that just pops in my head.

When I was having a really hard week… I realized some things.

Competition is a fact of life. There will always be someone better than you.

So in case you feel small and not really worth that much, learn that this is a chance to improve and appreciate your own person.

What you can do might not be as awesome as what others can, but it is something you have done yourself… out of sacrifice, strength and love for thy self.

That small thing you can be proud of and worked hard for, is more valuable than the end result of something done with less effort and less learning.

It is the process and feelings at which the canvas was filled.

If you have self appreciation, a crayon colored painting will be as beautiful as that of a water-colored one in your eyes.

When people see that you love yourself… that confidence and pride will make them realize that you are worth more than the credit you give yourself.

“When you undervalue what you do, the world will undervalue who you are.”

When you become perfectly comfortable with the imperfections, you realize the thousands of possibilities that open to you. It is a matter of prospective.

“The only step that makes the valuable to become valueless is the negative side of your eyes that you use to see it.”

Celebrate your success no matter how small they are. Little accomplishments are there not to discourage us, but to give us hope of how far we can push ourselves.

Speak of yourself in the way you want yourself to be and others to see you.

Do your best so that others may see the best in you.

Forgive yourself of shortcomings and mistakes. Learn from them.

Respect your own person and treat others with respect due to them.

Accept compliments with humility, grace and ease.

Show gratitude to one’s self by taking care of your own person… physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Stand straight; it gives us a new perspective of things and a sudden boost of morale.

Show gratitude, as it not only encourages others to do goodness but it also encourages oneself to be better and to pass the same happiness to others.

In a moment of rejection, do not let yourself get shattered, but realize that the approval you seek is your own… satisfy yourself by only wanting and aiming for the best.

See the goodness in you…and project that image to others. Never think you are never good enough, else the rejection you fear will be the only result you will ever see.

In a moment of sadness, you will learn contentment and appreciation of the little things that made you happy.

In a moment of desperation, you will learn that there are people who truly care for you.

In a moment of defeat, you are given a chance to pick yourself up and thus gain victory.

In your moment of weakness, you are given an opportunity to find strength.
