Everywhere you look, you’ll see something related to the recent super typhoon Yolanda. I saw this link shared on facebook. It really is heart-warming to see people extending help no matter where they are. This is a real example of passing on kindness. To see even local tourists who were stranded help out and a man being able to rescue a baby reminds us all that we are humans first above anything else, no matter what race or religion or status in life. No act of kindness no matter how small is insignificant and ever wasted. Charity is an agent towards a shift in humanity.
Whether one believes in a religion or not, and whether one believes in rebirth or not, there isn’t anyone who doesn’t appreciate kindness and compassion.
There is no greater weight than compassion… of sharing the burden with another and easing some of their pains. Give your heart some exercise. Let’s help our fellow Filipinos through our donations.
